After co-founding Robin Hood Ventures in 1999, George Marks saw the need to fill the gap between angel investors and mid-stage Venture Capital. As our name says, Phase 2 Investments was formed to be the next phase of investment after your angel and friends and family investments have run their course.

We partner with mid-sized and small Venture Capital firms to bring professional investors to help companies grow to the next stage of value creation. That could be an exit to a Strategic Buyer, a Private Equity firm or an IPO.

As value added investors we stick to only companies and markets we know something about. This is how we add value. We create relationships with our investee companies to build a team that will enable success.
